Bringing a Neglected Water Feature Back to Life with EPDM Rubber Paint

A decorative water feature, originally cleaned by a "reputable" company, was left leaking and inoperative. The client had lost hope—but we hadn’t. ABBCO stepped in to assess and restore the feature properly, using our proven method and high-performance materials.
Our Process
We began by thoroughly pressure washing and cleaning the entire structure. Once dry, we primed the surface and then applied a coat of liquid EPDM rubber paint—a durable, waterproofing solution perfect for water features.
After consulting with the client, we chose black EPDM to give the fountain a sleek, mirrored finish that reflects its surroundings beautifully. We also concealed plant pots and pumps within the feature for a clean, seamless look.
The Result
The transformation was striking. What was once a leaking, unusable fountain is now a stunning centrepiece that functions flawlessly—and looks even better than new.
